WHAT DOES IT COST?
Charges are $0.99 per track, $0.99 per store per album, Annual Fee $35 per album maintenance and service fee (all song(s) will be charged per album-even if it is just one song). This is to store and potentially redeliver your music to stores and services you chose or may opt for in the future. Also, we store your music in case one of the stores/services has a problem and requires we resend music files or information.

For example
Say you've got a five-song Album you want for sale in the iTunes U.S., iTunes Japan and iTunes Canada stores as well as on the Rhapsody service. The costs would be:
iTunes U.S. store per store per album (one time charge)
| $0.99
| iTunes Canada store per store per album (one time charge)
| $0.99
| iTunes Japan per store per album (one time charge)
| $0.99
| Rhapsody service per store per album (one time charge)
| $0.99
| Five songs at $0.99 each per song (one time charge)
| $4.95
| Album Setup Fee (one time charge per album)
| $45.00
| Album Cover Art
| Call
| UPC Barcode
| $35.00
| First year's maintenance and storage per album (per year)
| $35.00
| GRAND TOTAL Not including Album Cover Art

|
The one time per music album setup fee of $45. This charge covers the time and expense of encoding your audio tracks, converting and processing your album tracks, and managing your albums with the download retailers. See setup fees for music videos.
All delivered albums or music videos have a yearly maintenance and storage fee. When you first deliver your content, the yearly fee will be included in your initial payment. After twelve (12) months, the maintenance and storage fee is due again, always at the same set rate: $35 (U.S. dollars) per album $45 video.
If you don't have an album cover, we can make one for you, ask about charges. Please make sure your artwork meets all these requirements:
· You fully own the rights to the image.
· You have the rights to use the face or image of anyone in your artwork, especially if it's a photograph.
· If someone else provided you the image, you have permission from them to use it.
· No logos, trademarks or any other text or images can appear unless you own them or have permission from the owner(s) to use them. For example, you can not have a logo from a soda company, restaurant, gas station, store, etc., in the background. If things like that show up in your artwork, You might ask you to prove you have ownership or permission.
· No obscenity or pornography can appear in the image.
· Words that appear in the image are spelled correctly and are legible
· The image is not blurry or distorted.
· The image is square.

Remember: Music-Forever and its partners reserve the right to reject any artwork at any time for any reason.
If your image meets all these requirements, as a 600 x 600 pixel (or better, so long as it's square) .JPEG, .GIF, or .PNG file in best-quality RGB Color mode and at least 72 dpi. For best results, don't scale up smaller images, and don't submit anything that contains an embedded color profile. The most common reason why uploaded art doesn't look good is that the file you uploaded was not to specifications.
If you signup with music-forever and distribute your content through us, and later change your mind, just let us know and we will cancel your account. A $35 album takedown fee will apply to each album that has been 'live' for less than a period of 6 months. All music-forever fees are non-refundable. We charge a early termination fee to discourage people from frivolously uploading and requesting albums be taken down right after they went up. Taking an album off a store/service is a complex and time-consuming process for all involved.
If you don't currently have a UPC Barcode that is fine. We can provide you with one for only $35 per album. The UPC Barcode is used to track your album and song sales throughout the world.

IMPORTANT: UPCs and barcodes issued are for you to use, now and forever. But they are just for you. Please don't resell them! There are penalties for reselling to discourage this: you'll have to pay a $75.00 (U.S. dollars) fee plus all the revenue you received from the sale of the UPC or barcode or both, and we can take this money from the proceeds of music sales. Please keep the UPC and barcode they are meant to be: a convenient experience for you, the client.
ISRC
For tracking and accounting purposes, each of your songs needs its own unique ISRC number. An ISRC ("International Standard Recording Code") is assigned to each song. This allows easy tracking of each song, such as keeping track of how many copies of it sold. Each ISRC is associated with only one song.
Each ISRC number is a total of twelve characters in a combination of letters and numbers. For example: US SB5 0501001.
Your songs need unique ISRC numbers.
· You already have your own ISRC codes for each song and want to use them. No problem, just enter each song's ISRC and they will be used.
· You do not yet have ISRC codes. No problem, we will make them for you free of charge.
If we assign your songs ISRC numbers, you are free to use them any way you like for anything else you like at no extra charge. You can continue using them even if you are no longer a customer. We will never re-use your ISRC numbers. If you want them, they're yours forever.
You will receive an email to the address you used when you set up your account reminding you that the month has come due for one or more of your albums/videos. IMPORTANT: the fee is due even if you don't get the email; MUSIC-FOREVER will do everything possible to contact you, but even if your email address or other contact information has changed, you are still responsible for maintaining your account and content. If the annual maintenance and storage fee is not paid for an album or video, it will be taken down from all stores.
IMPORTANT: Once your album or music video has been removed from a store, it cannot go back up without a complete redelivery and will require a full charge at current delivery prices. Please renew promptly if you want to avoid delays, gaps and charges! Your account itself will remain open even if all your albums and music videos are removed from the stores.
If you chose not to renew an album or video, we will automatically remove it from all stores.
What rights am I granting?

You grant the right to collect and transfer to you all the money owed to you from the sale of your music and/or music videos in the stores/services you choose.
You grant the right to use the name(s), photographs and likenesses, artwork images, biographical and other information provided by you in connection with your music or music videos.
REMEMBER: MUSIC-FOREVER does not own your songs, your masters, your copyrights, or the rights to any art work or band photo or music videos you submit. How will I be paid?
We pay all of our artists by way of PayPal, the global leader in online payments. It is free to sign up for PayPal and regardless of which account type you create (personal, premium, or business). Click banner below!!

When do I see how much I got paid, and when do I get my money?
Until the stores and services you chose send information, there is no way of knowing what has sold, where it has sold, how many copies it has sold or how much money you have made from the sale of your music or music videos.
All of the stores and services send out this information in one of two ways:
Within 45 days after the end of each month, or
Within 45 days after the end of every three months.
For example, iTunes sends information and payment by 45 days after the end of each month, so sales and information for the month of March are sent by iTunes by May 15th (May 15th is 45 days after the end of March). Sales and information on what your music sold in the month of April is sent by iTunes (and all other services that account monthly) by June 15th, and so on.
For example, eMusic sends out all information and money by 45 days after the end of every three months. Sales and information for the months of January, Febuary and March gets sent by eMusic by May 15th, which is 45 days after the end of March. Sales and information for the months of April, May and June gets sent by eMusic by August 15th, which is 45 days after the end of June, and so on.
Sales reporting and royalty payments get sent to us once per month. Please view the schedule below to see when your sales data arrives and when you get paid for your music sales.

Such payment obligation shall constitute full consideration for all rights granted and all obligations undertaken by you hereunder.
